Supports Joint Test Action Group (JTAG), and Spy-Bi-Wire (SBW) communication to MCU.
Programs MSP430 MCUs from Texas Instruments.
Built on the MSP430F5437 MCU with 256kB of flash memory.
Uses software interface provided by TI. There are specific software projects for the following target device Replicator implementations:
Replicator: For MSP430 architecture devices.
ReplicatorX: For MSP430X extended architecture devices only.
ReplicatorXv2: For MSP430Xv2 (5xx, 6xx Family) extended architecture devices only

48 kB flash can be erased, blank checked, programmed and verified in 8 seconds via JTAG.
17 kB verify and erase in 10 ms via JTAG.

Product Details

Communication:
Debug adapter (i.e. from TI or Elprotronic Inc.) connects to Replicator using via JTAG interface. 
Supports selectable JTAG communication speed - 4 Mb/s, 1 Mb/s or 400 kb/s allows to communicate with the target device even if the ESD protection components have been added to the JTAG lines.

Code File:
200 kB max code size.
Functionality depends on debug adapter software.
Protection:
Blow the JTAG security fuse capability.

Miscellaneous:
Target device can be powered from the programming adapter (programmable Vcc from 2.1V to 3.6V step 0.1V) or from external source (2.1V to 3.6V).
Requires external power supply (8V to 10V) or from target device (2.5V-3.6V).
